The object of the workshop is to inform attendees about Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) and explore how they can engage employers and their employees to solve the prescription drug cost crisis.

Julayna Meyer, Vice President
Strategic Relations & Clinical Program Management Express Scripts

As vice president of Strategic Relations and Clinical Program Management, Julayna manages Express Scripts' relationships with organizations, oversees clinical programs for internal divisions and works directly with prospective clients to identify clinical programs that will help promote better health for members and lower prescription-drug trend.

One of her most significant professional accomplishments came when she implemented programs and communications to increase the use of generic statins and decrease the use of brand-name Lipitor, saving clients and patients more than $125 million in a single year.

Julayna received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma and her MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma.
